1265 Financing is a service that allows 1265 community members to get their projects (short films, short doc, films, documentaries) financed, produced, and made through a simple 15-minute application.
Simply put: We finance and produce your project (up to $10,000) and you pay back later — through a simple monthly payment plan (no interest if paid in 6 months and 25.99% after 6 months with no annual fee).

does it work?

— If your script matches our budget ceiling, we will send you a link to apply for the film production/financing package that matches your project’s budget.
— If your script doesn’t match our budget ceiling, you will be asked to make some changes to the script before moving on. [/expand]
— If you are approved, a production and advising fee of 15% will be withdrawn from the amount and 85% will go toward the production of your project.
— You will be assigned to one of our highly skilled film producers, who will review your script and give advice on the schedule, the budget, and help you bring your vision to life.
— We have a community-first approach — at least 70% of your cast and crew will need to sign up and become members of the 1265 community if they aren’t already. — Once everything is set, you will be able to shoot, edit, and complete your project.
— During the pre-production (up to 60 days), the production (up to 7 days), and the post-production, we will make all payments directly to the businesses, persons, cast, location owners, and crew that are involved in the making of your project so you can focus on the creative part.
