Invitation Terms and Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions very carefully before requesting the Surviving the Cartel Premiere and Red Carpet invitation. Travel Expenses to Surviving the Cartel Premiere and Red Carpet will be considered Personal and Not Reimbursable or otherwise paid for, by 1265 Films:

I agree that I will be responsible for my travel fees, hotel, and any other fees associated with my travel to Mexico City. 1265 Films shall not be liable for any loss or damages.

I understand and agree that participation in the Surviving the Cartel Premiere and Red Carpet carries with it the risk to me of personal or bodily injury (including death) and loss or damage to property, and I willingly and knowingly accept that risk. I also understand and agree that 1265 Films does not and will not guarantee my safety during my participation in the Surviving the Cartel Premiere and Red Carpet. With this understanding, I, individually, and on behalf of my heirs, successors, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby release, relieve, indemnify and forever discharge 1265 Films, its employees, agents, officers, trustees and representatives (in their official and individual capacities) from any and all liability whatsoever for any personal or bodily injury (including death) and loss of or damage to property that I may sustain, including but not limited to any claims, demands, actions, causes of action, judgments, damages, expenses and costs, including attorney’s fees, which arise out of, result from, occur during or are connected in any manner with my participation in the Surviving the Cartel Premiere, any related or independent travel, any activities (e.g. club or extracurricular activities) or irrespective of whether or not they are sponsored, supervised or controlled by the University, except such liability arising directly and solely from gross negligence on the part of 1265 Films.

I understand that 1265 Films reserves the right to make changes to the Surviving the Cartel Premiere and Red Carpet itinerary at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, and 1265 Films shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to me by reason of any such cancellation or change. 1265 Films is not responsible to me for penalties assessed by air carriers that may result due to operational and/or itinerary changes, regardless of whether 1265 Films makes a flight arrangement. Any additional expense resulting from the above will be paid by me.


I understand and acknowledge that 1265 Films assumes no responsibility or liability, in whole or in part, for any delays or changes in departure or arrival times, fare changes, dishonors of hotel, airline or vehicle rental reservations, missed carrier connections, sickness, disease, injuries (including death), losses, expenses, damages, weather, strikes, acts of God, circumstances beyond the control of 1265 Films, force majeure, war, quarantine, civil unrest, public health risks, criminal activity, terrorism, bankruptcies of airlines or other service providers, inconveniences, cessation of operations, mechanical defects, failure or negligence of any nature howsoever caused in connection with any accommodations, restaurant, transportation, or other service or for any substitution of hotels or of common carriers beyond the 1265 Films’ reasonable control, with or without notice, or for any additional expense occasioned by any of the foregoing. If due to weather, flight schedules or other factors beyond the control of 1265 Films, I am required to spend additional nights, 1265 Films will not be responsible for my hotel, transfers, meal costs or other expenses. My baggage and personal property are transported at my risk entirely. The right is reserved by 1265 Films, in its sole discretion, to cancel the Surviving The Cartel Premiere and Red Carpet or any aspect thereof prior to departure; and, in 1265 Films’ sole reasonable discretion, to cancel the Surviving The Cartel or any aspect thereof after departure, requiring that all participants return to the United States if 1265 Films determines or believes that the risks of personal or bodily injury (including death) or property damage associated with my or any other person’s continued participation in the Surviving The Cartel is or will be unacceptable to 1265 Films.
