Directing and Producing a High-Quality Short Film at a Low Cost —————
This exclusive, innovative workshop will help you acquire knowledge that takes most people years to learn. You will be immersed in the role of director/producer or cinematographer and experience how challenges are overcome and how things are done.
In one week, you and your instructor will make an entire short film together from an already written script. You will have not only a firsthand experience of how it’s done, but you will also put your hands in by directing a scene of the short as a director/producer attendee or shoot a scene if you are a cinematographer attendee. Moreover, you will get the credit as one of the short film directors/producers or cinematographers, and you will be able to use the short film in your showreel.
First Assistant Camera ——
This one-day intensive, immersive, and hands-on workshop will teach you how to put together the Red Camera, how to set up and operate a manual and wireless follow focus and ensure a sharp picture, and will give you recommendations to obtain work as a new first assistant cameraperson.
Lighting A Dinner ——
This is a spectacular one-day comprehensive workshop that will give you how-to secrets and tips to achieve amazing cinematography for dining scenes. You will learn the ins and out of lighting that transfers to a warm and happy dining scene or a darker, moody dining scene, and that frames a dining scene with few takes, while using one camera and ensuring good continuity.
